FUSION BELLY DANCER

International Fusion Belly Dancer based in Los Angeles, California. Tracy is known for her elegant style and unique charm. As a teacher, she likes to go in-depth with technique and drilling to create muscle memory.

Regarding her beginnings, she began studying belly dance under the Fat Chance Belly Dance® Style format back in 2004 with the troupe Blue Stars of Tanit. In 2006, they won 1st place in the Belly Dancer of The Universe, under the Tribal Group Category.

Throughout her dance career, Tracy has studied with world-renowned instructors such as: Carolena Nericcio, Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, April Rose, Mira Betz, Josefine Wandel, Edenia Archuleta, Belly Dance Superstar: Sonia Ochoa, and has even shared the performance stage with some of these wonderful instructors.

Tracy's dance curriculum includes Diplomas in Dance Education Methodology, a study in dance pedagogy through the Functional Analysis of the Body in Movement in Dance (AFCMD), taught by Dance Pedagogue Mireya Martínez Solís.

Since 2021, Tracy began studying Siren Project's Fat Chance Belly Dance® Style flamenco fan dialect, obtaining her Teacher Training Certification in 2022 from Katarzyna Lidia, creator of the FCBD® Style fan dialect, Agata Zakrzewska, FCBD® Style manton dialect, and Eileen Kim, Siren Project's Ambassador.

In April 2025, Tracy earned her Diamonds Certification, which is part of Zoe Jakes' DanceCraft Certification Program.

Tracy currently teaches both Online belly dance classes through Tracy Rhaj Dance Academy on Patreon and in-person belly dance intensive classes in Southern California.

Tracy has trained with world-renowned instructors, including Bellydance Superstars Sonia Ochoa, Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, and Tracy Lynn; FCBD® founder Carolena Nericcio; as well as Mira Betz, April Rose, Silvia Salamanca, Josefine Wandel, and many others.

Certified Teacher

Tracy graduated from Zoe Jakes’ DanceCraft certification program at the Diamond Level in April 2025.

She also earned the Siren Project Teacher Training Certification in FatChance BellyDance® Style dialect with fan, created by Katarzyna Lidia in collaboration with Agata Zakrzewska. I

n addition, Tracy holds Diplomas in Dance Education Methodology, specializing in Dance Pedagogy designed for dance instructors.

Tracy offers in-person Fusion Belly Dance workshops throughout Southern California, as well as live online workshops through Tracy Rhaj Dance Academy on Patreon.
